Armed Forces Covenant
Although a volunteer organisation, RSR Motorsport Safety (previously Rescue Services Rutland) has awarded the Armed Forces Covenant, Employer Recognition Scheme, Bronze award in 2022. Not only do we have a number of both serving and ex service men and women within our group, we also support many activities involving serving military such as the RAFMSA / Armed Forces Karting Championship. We were awarded a Silver Award in June 2023.
A number of members of RSR Motorsport Safety have had and continue to have close links with the military. The charity has a long history and policy of proactively recruiting within the armed forces as opposed to simply offering non-discriminatory policy, resulting in a large number of veterans and services leavers joining our activities.
RSR Motorsport Safety pledges to return the experience and dedication that comes from Veterans, Service Leaves and Reservists with equal dedication and support. As part of this, our volunteer group already consists of serving military and veterans who can offer a comprehensive internal support network to service members transitioning through our Armed Forces Network and coordinated by our Armed Forces Champion, providing ongoing work/life support. From our diverse team of paid medics and volunteer rescue crew we can boast RAF retired = 4, ex Army medics = 2, serving RAF = 2
